Easter with My Cousins

I never knew hanging out with my cousins could be so much fun. They kept me laughing all the time.

Here I am holding the egg that had my name written on it. Then I decided it would be more fun to eat it, which in turn gave me a blue mouth for a couple of days.

Blane let me ride on his shoulders. He is such a cool guy, even though I teased him that his name was Blanarina since his hair is as long as a girl's hair.

Easter morning mom and dad got me a cool baseball Easter basket with a bunny inside. Gage and Blane got me some cool presents too.
Here mommy, daddy, and I are posing after Easter service at church.

Here I am ready to party down at my friend Eli's birthday. It was so much fun.

At the party I got to hang out with Sam who is just a few weeks younger than me. I am sure we will grow up to be great friends. Eli was a little bashful around me, but after the party started he started having lots of fun.

Funny Expressions

This was the expression on mommy's face when she felt my first tooth pop through the gums. She was sooooo excited. I, on the other hand, just threw my hands in the air trying to tell her that's why I have been drooling so much and keeping her up through the nights.

Here I am playing with my new favorite toy. I can put the balls in with help from mommy, but I much prefer to chew on them. It looks like I am waving at you (which mommy and daddy have diligently been working with me on), however, mom just happened to snap a picture with my hand up and not a true wave just yet.

Here I am sporting my first pair of New Balance running shoes that I got from Meemaw and Peepaw for Easter. It won't be long before I am out in the neighborhood hills trying to keep up with mommy.

Here I am after returning from my 6 month photo shoot at Sears. Boy that was a tiring experience. That is why I have my hands in the air kicking back and resting. They made me wait so long, but the pictures will be worth it for sure.

Here I am trying out my new blow up ducky tub. Thanks Aunt Gail for this great bath time toy. Now that I can sit up really good, I love to splash and play around.

New Milestones

I have reached 2 new milestones. Here I am sitting up by myself for the first time and in the second picture I am showing everyone my new tooth. No wonder I have not been sleeping good. Its those darned new teeth coming in.

Here I am about to get my first bite of cereal. Boy was this food a long time coming. In the second picture I am not too sure about the first bite of green beans. After I got used to them I liked them just fine.

Mommy could not pass up putting these pictures up of me in my hat. She says I look like such a little man in my hat.

Here I am hamming it up with Aunt Sherrill. I had so much fun with her the weekend she came to visit. She took me shopping and helped me pick out a bunch of summer clothes.

Here I am in my car seat sleeping on the trip to Grandma and Grandpa Cheek's house. Lately I have been kind of bashful around them and mommy does not know why.

Valentine Surprises

Valentine's week was full of surprises. On Tuesday I decided to finally roll over for mom and dad. I can now do it both directions from tummy to back. I still have to work on back to tummy. The other surprises were all the cool stuff I got for Valentine's day. Mom and dad got me the cool chair I am sitting in and the hat I am wearing in the pictures above. Plus Meemaw and Peepaw got me several cool outfits for Spring along with an Easter outfit that is sure to make the blog when its warm enough to wear it. Hopefully mom will be getting lots more pictures up in the weeks to come with the new camera daddy got her for Valentine's day.

Spring Training

In recognition of Spring training starting up pretty soon, I have been wearing all my baseball outfits and laying on my Cardinals blanket. Daddy has already told me we will get to go to picture day at the Cardinals so I can get my mug with Albert. Won't that be a treat!!

I am still not enjoying tummy time, no matter how often mommy or daddy put me there. I had to show off my cool jacket though in this picture before I started screaming.

Here I am much happier sitting up. Whoever invented tummy time must not enjoy milk as much as me or have as big of a belly.

In this picture I am laying on my new blanket from Aunt Carol. It is soooooo soft and I love the animals on it. Everyone has to check my cool t-shirt too. It says "Watch what you say, my mom's an SLP." Mommy bought this for me on the internet. Then I am also sporting my Sunday duds before church and had to make one last pose.

Winter Fun???

I am not sure what all the kids think is so fun about playing in the snow. Mommy had a snow day and tried to take me out, but its just too cold and wet for me.

Here I am trying to get in some adapted tummy time. I hate being on my tummy. That is why I haven't rolled over yet, but I love reading all my books. I have even started holding some myself.
Here I am in my first robe. I am much cuter than Hugh Hefner in his robe and I can defintely get more chicks. Case in point.....my first girl encounter was hanging out with Paige at her first birthday party. She loved touching my face.

New Things for the New Year

Two of my new favorite places are in my high chair and in my exersaucer. Dr. Hampton won't let me start cereal yet, so right now I just play in my high chair.

Even though the Rams had a REALLY crumby season, I couldn't be a fair weather fan and not cheer them on. Here I am sporting my Rams attire on 2 different game days.

Both of my grandpas aren't so scared of me anymore. I guess they don't think I am so fragile nowadays. They both love to hold me.

I have started doing lots of new things in the past couple of weeks. I love to hold onto and chew on my teethers, although no teeth have popped through just yet. I also love to have my pants off and grab my socks. Mommy calls me frogger when I do that.

Here I am playing with a rattle. They are fun to chew on too. And here I am fast asleep on the couch. This was one of the days that Grandma and Grandpa Cheek got to baby sit me. Boy was that fun!

And yes, mom and dad still make me sleep in a striaght jacket, or as Gage and Blane call it.....a burrito with a head. Whatever works, because I slept until 7:45 this morning.
