Christmas #4

Christmas #4 at Meemaw and Peepaw's was just so much fun. I got tons of cool toys and so did my cousins. They were even really good about letting me check out their stuff too.

I got some neat bath toys. The bubble blower for the tub was a huge hit.

I also got a puppet and a magnetic radio that sticks to my refrigerator from Gage and Blane. I love to pull it off and on.

Here is one of my favorite past times, playing with cousin Blane and chewing on an empty 2 liter soda bottle. What fun!!

Here is the yearly Helling Family Picture. The men whine and complain about it the whole time and each year the ladies insist on taking one. This one turned out pretty good seeing as the timer has to be set each year we try for it.

Are these three handsome boys or what???? We were all dressed up to head out to Nakatos for Travis' birthday. That is his restaurant of choice every year. I enjoyed all the flames and antics of our waiter but refused to eat any of the food.

Christmas is finally here!!!!

Here I am doing one last tree pose, and I say one last tree pose for mom before Christmas Eve service. She promised that was it, however as you see below she made me do one with mommy and daddy too.

Daddy and I, Mommy and I yada, yada, yada.

And finally, the grand finale......Christmas morning arrived, and yes, I guess I was a good boy because Santa brought me the mow mow (lawn mower) that I had been asking for. I also got a really cool bouncing and turning horse that hooks into the television. I thinks its pretty neat too.

Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Cheeks house for Christmas #2. While I was there I got tons of cool lute. Grandma and grandpa got me my very first tricycle. I can almost reach the pedals already!

Uncle Matt and Aunt Steph got me this cool t-ball set. Mom said I am not quite ready to be a baseball Bear just yet. I also got a neat remote control truck from Aunt Ginger and Brookelyn. It didn't take me long to figure that toy out.

Then it was off to Christmas #3 at Great Grandma Annie's house. I got to hang out with my buddy Kenzi. I am not sure our relationship.....my daddy and her daddy are cousins.....we'll just say second cousins for now. She and I had a blast chasing this itsy bitsy dog named Cha Cha all over Great Grandma Annie's kitchen.
Tune in later for Christmas #4 at MeeMaw and PeePaw's house. That is sure to be a blast too. I love this extended Christmas thing:)

More Videos

Mommy seems to think that videos are better than pictures these days since I won't sit still or smile for pictures anymore. Plus I am just doing so many cute and funny things they just can't be captured in a still photo. Sorry that the second video is sideways. Daddy has been out of town and mommy is attempting to do this on her own.

In the 4 Wheeler video I am being a big shot by standing up and riding. It scares mom to death which is the part I love the most.

In the second video I am getting ready for a "Big Boy Bath" in mommy and daddy's bathroom. Boy is that fun.

Santa can be quite scary

So far this season I have seen Santa 3 times. Each time I was fine if mommy was holding me, however, if she left me alone with the plump bearded fellow, I started to scream. He is a pretty scary fellow even if his name is Jolly Old St. Nick.

Santa's Watching You

Mommy keeps telling me that Santa is watching me when I am whining. I am not sure what that all means, but this night I did not want my picture taken in my Christmas jammies no matter how hard mom tried. All I wanted was to play with the camera.
Here mom, dad, and I are at Meemaw's posing after church and another one of me up, close, and personal:)

For any of you who are last minute shoppers, mommy got this really cool blanket made of my cousins and I for my great grandma's 90th birthday. It turned out so neat mommy thought she better take a picture of the blanket so everyone could see.
Last night I was watching the Tigers basketball game with dad and thought I had better work on my skills too. I have gotten very good at the slam dunk with my goal. I also did some hammering during the game because the Tigers aren't that exciting to watch this season so far.

Some of you may not find this too funny, but I sure did as well as mom, dad, and Meemaw and Peepaw. Meemaw started all this by hitting her head and saying I should have had a V8. Now I walk around all the time slapping my head and giggling.

Gobble Gobble

I have become very fond of helping mom sweep and mop the floor. I am so much help that I actually drag more dirt and dust from mom's piles, but I know she appreciates all my help.

Here is a video of Hayden helping out so much!!!

I have also become quite fond of suckers. The only problem is that mom makes me eat them in my high chair with a bib on....I am not sure why, but I am guessing because I am sticky from head to toe when I am done.

Thanksgiving was great this year. I got to gobble up some turkey two days in a row. On Thursday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Cheek's house. While I was there I rode my 4 wheeler for everyone.

I also watched the horses next to Grandpa's pasture and posed in front of Grandma's pumpkins too.

Mom also made dad and I pose in on Grandma's porch bench.

Now we get to the best part. I got to sit up in Uncle Tim's big 18 wheeler. First we had to get the posed shot mom wanted and then I was off to doing the steering all by myself.

Then it was off to pulling the string for the loud horn. Boy did that make me giggle. And then once we were done, all I could do was attempt to climb up for more fun.
Thanksgiving at Meemaw and Peepaw's was on Friday. Once again I got some super yummy turkey and a day to hand out with my cousins. Boy would I really like to have a brother some day:)

Big Boy Bath

Mom has said I have officially outgrown my blow up duck bath tub that I have been using since I could sit up, so now I get to take a "Big Boy Bath." I even go around yelling it before I hop in. You can tell that I am anxiously awaiting it in the first picture as I am about to fling myself over the edge so I can get in.

I love to drink the water and splash all around. Trying to splash mom is the best!

Mom had this crazy idea to try and get a good picture of me when I was sick and not feeling well, and I was having no part of it. She thinks she needs a picture for her Christmas cards, but posing in front of the tree in my church clothes with a 101.4 fever is not my idea of fun. She better try again another day.

Here mom and dad are all dressed up for the Volunteer Gala at church. Daddy didn't want a picture but mommy insisted.

Fall Festival X 2

In this first photo, I am at mom's fall festival at her school, and yes, that is a real pumpkin. It took up the whole bed of the truck it was sitting inside. I thought it was pretty cool.

Then it was off to my 2nd fall festival at church. I was not too thrilled about posing with my friend Paige "AKA Catwoman," but I loved riding the toys at the playground.
The best part of the evening was the duck pond. I could have cared less about the prizes. All I wanted to do was splash in the water. Needless to say my arms were pretty wet much to mom's dismay.

Another pose with the pumpkin I decorated at fall festival and the leftover hay bales from the night before.

In this last picture I was such a big help to dad when he was trying to fix the squeaking rocking chair. Grabbing all the tools was fun for me, but I don't think dad liked it too much.
