BSB Picnic

All of mom's college friends came into town for a big picnic and boy was it fun. There were 6 of mommy's friends and between them all there were 10 kids with 2 more on the way. Kind of crazy, but I sure had a fun time playing with all of them.



While everyone did bubbles at the picnic, I was fast asleep in the stroller. It was sooooo hot I had to take a break for a while. Swinging was definitely my favorite part.






In this picture dad and I are taking in a Cards game on a lazy Sunday afternoon. In the second picture I am chilling in our new recliner.





Mommy, Meemaw, and I went shopping yesterday and mommy bought me a new outfit for my 1 year old pictures. She thought it would be fun to try the outfit on and get some practice with "Senior Pictures" dragging me around to various spots outside to get a cute picture as she says. It was kind of a drag for me.

Swimming Like a Fish

At the Nixa Pool, the fountains could keep me entertained for days. I love to splash around and kick water with my feet too.



In the first picture I am at MeeMaw's pool with my bud Sam. We sure had fun. In the second picture I am at the pool in my neighborhood and I am swimming with my friend Austin.





In this picture I am having my first lesson at driving Meemaw's car. In the second picture I am just posing in front of the fireplace with my new spikey hairdo.



Pushing around the big ball can be fun, but it often gets away from me causing me to fall on my rump. In the second picture I am showing everyone that I just hate wearing my bib, so now mom lets me eat naked. Boy is that fun!

Buzz, Snip, Chop

See how long my hair is getting. Mom keeps teasing me I am getting a mullet in the back. Well, keep reading below and see how my first hair cut went!! My exersaucer has become a dust collector for the most part. Once in a while I stop to play with the toys on it, however I have not sat in it for over a month.




Here I am visiting Great Grandma Cheek. She is such a sweet lady. Then I am posing with Kort and Kenzie. They are daddy's cousin's kids. They were so much fun to play with.



Isn't Kenzie such a cutie!!! In the next picture I am practicing for my debut on American Idol. I use my brush as my microphone....actually I much prefer to chew on it if you really want to know the truth.



Here I am with mom and dad before another Sunday at church. Little did I know that this was the Sunday mom and dad would leave me in the nursery for the first time. That was a little traumatizing.



Here I am with my friend Jack. I missed his birthday party over the 4th of July so I had to drop him by a gift. We got to play a little too. It was great fun.




Here I am getting my first hair cut. At Cookie Cutters I chose the airplane as my choice of seats. Then came the cape. I thought it was a bib (which I have come to despise the last few weeks) and so I had to throw a fit, but once she took it off of me, I loved my hair cut.




I didn't even mind the razor too much. I just punched the buttons on my cell phone while she did it. And, yes, the finished product is a spike in front just like dad.

Boom Boom Boom

My first 4th of July sure was a lot of fun. Gage and Blane shot off fireworks on several different nights and I just sat in Pee Paw's truck bed and giggled. Even the big fireworks from the Nixa City Park didn't scare me.

Here I am at Mommy's Aunt Carol's house. We went there for the weekend after the 4th of July. Luckily she had little lawn chairs that were just my size and a swing just like the one that I have at home.


Here I am with mommy's cousin Kim's little girl Karoline. We were riding on the swing together. She is not too fond of pictures, so mommy was lucky to have gotten this shot. In the second shot, Kelsay and Karoline are showing off their matching pigtails. That Karoline is one cute chick!

Here I am making the rounds at the picnic tables. I am getting to be less of a mama's boy. I actually went up to lots of mommy's family members without her by my side. In the second picture I am enjoying my first sparkler. Mommy wouldn't let me hold my own. I guess I will have to wait until next year for that.

After the big fireworks display by mommy's cousin, it was time for the dreaded kids picture. I was already sporting my pj's because it was way past my bedtime. Little did mom know that I would put her (and Meemaw for that matter) through a night of misery at Aunt Sherrill's house. I can blame it on my 5th and 6th teeth that popped through over the weekend.

Cousin Time!!

This week has been so much fun. My cousins, Gage and Blane, are in town staying with MeeMaw and PeePaw. We have already gone to the pool and played baseball in the back yard and that was just the first day.

By the way, that Gage is a pretty tough kid. He got hit in the face with a pitch at his baseball game. That is why his whole left side of his face is bruised and swollen. And this picture is 5 days after it happened!
