Christmas and New Years

Here I am posing with mom before we headed to a holiday open house at Pastor Oman's house.

I was pretty comfortable hanging out with Shawn at the Fankhauser Christmas.

I was not too fond of Santa this year. He was a pretty scarey old fella. I turned my bottom lip upside down about 2 seconds after mom put me on his lap.

Here I was asleep in mom's arms at my debut of playing "Jesus" at the church nativity. Luckily mom got to be the angel and carry me since I have become a mom's boy as of late. Gage and Blane are such cools guys. Here we are before Christmas Eve service.

Here I am in my Santa outfit waiting for Santa's arrival. I know I have been a good enough boy to get a few gifts.

Here I am on Christmas morning at the Cheek Christmas. Thanks Ginger for the cool drum and my "rocket scientist" shirt.

The excitement of Christmas was all a little overwhelming so I had to show my true colors and turn my bottom lip down a few times.

Here I am just relaxing and showing off my cute dimples and smile.

Here I am posing with my super cool quacking duck. Thanks aunt Kelly for this toy. It always makes me laugh and giggle.

I am really enjoying my bath nowadays. Mommy and I sing and kick and splash!!!

Here I am sporting some of my new Christmas clothes. I preferred the toys, but I guess I do look pretty cute in this outfit.

Here is one of my biggest smiles yet!!!!!!

Here I am cheering on the Tigers in the Cotton Bowl. We really devoured those Hogs!!!!!!

Thanksgiving and Baptism

Here I am before heading to church for my baptism. I was all smiles in my nice duds. Too bad I spit up on them three times before heading to the front of the church.

Here I am with Mommy and Daddy after the baptism. It was so much work it wore me out. I must be a pretty important guy because I had one great-grandma and both sets of grandmas and grandpas at my baptism along with all my aunts and uncles and even some cousins. I was so grateful for everyone coming to see me!!!

Here I am sitting on Great Grandma Hobson's lap. She made a special trip all the way from Wyoming to be here to meet me and attend my baptism. She is one smart cookie for almost 90 years old:) Her singing got me to sleep several days when I was at MeeMaw's house.

Here I am at my first stop on Thanksgiving at Great-Grandma Annie's house. I was not too happy because I had not had my first installment of turkey. Once I got that, I was good to go!

Round 2 on Thanksgiving day was at the Letterman Thanksgiving Feast. Aunt Stephanie had no problem getting me to fall asleep and I was just chilling with a fully belly with Grandpa.

Even though Dad and I didn't go deer hunting, I had to commemorate opening day by sporting my "camo" pants. Here I am lounging with Dad watching MU beat KU!!!!! Yipee, now we need to win the big one against OU!!

1st Road Trip and Halloween

Here I am chilling on a blanket before I started on the long trek to OKC to meet the rest of the Helling family. My cousin Gage sure was good at getting me to go to sleep.

Here I am posing with Gage and Blane outside before a nice dinner out at Red Lobster. I slept through the whole meal, but I heard it was tasty. This was the only time Uncle Travis agreed to hold me and that was just for a second to snap the photo.

Here I am at MeeMaw and PeePaw's on Halloween. I stayed in my lion costume for a while, but it was kind of hot and scratchy. I was ready to get out of it and get into regular clothes.
Aunt Carol got to hang out with me on Halloween too, but after 2 hours in my costume, I was in no mood for a picture. I was just wanting some chow.

Here I am sporting my football jersey watching football with dad again. GO TIGERS!!!! They are doing so good this year and daddy can't help but tease PeePaw about his Cornhuskers.

This was a day that Grandma and Grandpa Cheek came for a visit. I was definitely all smiles to see them.

New Adventures

Here I am on my first long car trip to Great Grandma Annie's house in Long Lane. She was so excited to meet me. Her late husband, my Great Grandpa Buell Nicholas is who I was named after.

While I was at Great Grandma Annie's, Kelly and Anna stopped by to visit too. Kelly had the touch to get me to fall off to sleep.

Here I am sporting an intentional smile that I have started to do in the last few days. Mom and dad are pretty proud of the cooing I have started too.

This is dad and I taking in some Saturday afternoon football. Dad's Mizzou Tigers are having a great year. They even came close to upsetting Uncle Travis' Oklahoma Sooners!!!

I have become a big fan of the binkie as of late. It can usually quiet me down if I get upset.

Here I am all dressed up, getting ready to leave for my friend Ethan's birthday party. The party was so much fun, I slept through the whole thing.

Here I am sporting my Cardinals outfit. Thanks Krista for giving us the hand me down. We love it.

I have been getting really good at sticking out my tongue. I did this a lot last week when mommy and meemaw took me for my first professional pictures at the mall.
