Boston Continued

Day 2 in Boston started out at the New England Aquarium and Imax Theater. It was the first Imax movie for Steve and I and we really enjoyed it.

The aquarium was really neat and of course the nerdiness in Steve ate it all up.

Here Steve is with his favorite....the sea turtles.

This is Fanieul Hall where we shopped and ate lunch.

This is Boston Harbor.

Here is the skyline of North Boston. We had dinner down there both nights...once a wonderful seafood restarant in Cambridge close to Harvard and the other night a quaint little Italian restaurant. Both were wonderful.

We took a tour of the Samuel Adam's Brewery.

Here are the big containers that brew the beer. Steve informed me that the big metal containers are made in Springfield.

Here was the best part of the tour....the free beer at the end:)

We took a tour of Fenway Park.

NYC Day 2 and Rhode Island/Boston Day 3

Day 2 in New York City was spent going down to lower Manhattan to see the Staten Island Ferry.

We also took the Liberty Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. It was pretty amazing.

Here is the New York skyline as we left to head to the Statue of Liberty.

This was on the wall by the fire department down by groud zero. It listed all the lives lost from the fire department.

This is the current construction at ground zero. There is still a lot of work to do.
Later that evening we saw our 2nd musical, Billy Elliott. Steve and I were pretty impressed with Mama Mia the night before so we went to a second show on our 2nd day in the city as well as having a very nice dinner at Ruth Chris' Steak House.

Day 3 we left New York and headed to Boston but made a stop in Newport, Rhode Island. We watched some crazy surfers in the ice cold water of Newport Bay.

We then took a hike to see many old mansions from the late 1800s.

Day One in NYC

Day 1 in NYC, and Steve was thrilled to be up at 5:00 to be at the Today show at 6:00.

Getting up early was worth it. We stood next to Lenny and made it on TV. It was a chilly 28 degrees that morning.

Here Steve and I are at the top of the Rock. (Rockefeller Center). The Empire State Building was in the back ground.

Here is the infamous Today Show Studio 1A. We also got to do the NBC expereince. It allowed us to see the Nightly News taping as well as the stage for Saturday Night Live.

This is the ice skaing at Rockefeller Center. Steve and I just did a little watching, but no skaking.

Here is the David Letterman Show we went to on our first day in New York City. Mary Tyler Moore was the guest.

This is trump tower. Since I am a reality tv show freak, we had to see this.

Trump Tower again.

Here is Time Square when we exited Mama Mia. For Steve and I, it was our first Broadway Musical, and we really enjoyed it.

A Sunday at Grammy and Poppy's

I love going to Grammy and Poppy's house because I always get to pet the horses next door. I was not scared of them a bit and thought it was quite amusing to see their poop on the ground.

The stinking CROUP!!!

Sorry its been a while since mommy added any new pictures, it is my fault. I had to catch this virus called croup. It has been pretty miserable. Here is a picture of me at the marathon wait at the urgent care Monday night. We waited for 2 1/2 hours to be seen by a doctor. The whole time I was having a hard time breathing. After the steroid shots and a breathing treatment, I didn't have to be admitted to the hospital, but was instead sent home. Thank goodness.
I am feeling much better here playing outside. Even though I have been "under the weather" I have been enjoying the nice warm weather. And yes, I still like taking sodas and water out of the fridge.

Yep, I am always all smiles when I am outside.

Here I am with mommy before church. I am sporting my new Easter outfit even though its not Easter yet. Mommy said I had to get some good out of it before I outgrow it. She is so silly.
I will hardly stand still for mommy to take a picture. That is why most of the pictures are blurry from me running away from her.

Many of my favorite words at this time are in reference to coke. My old "default" word for coke was "daddy" because he drinks so much of it, but now I can say coke very plainly along with "dew" for Mountain Dew. I do still like the water bottles too.

Spring is Here

This weekend may have been windy, but I still got out and enjoyed the warmer weather. First stop was the park. Now that I am almost 18 months old, I have pretty much mastered the kiddie area and will be on to the big boys area of the playground really soon.

Crawling through the tunnels gave me a little static electricity, but that made it even more fun.

I must say the slides have now taken over as my first choice at the park. The swings are for babies.
Of course with every slide down, I had to try and climb back up the slide too.

Here are the latest additions to BSB babies. Welcome Annika and Riley.

My latest favorite thing is driving the "car car." I have even had a couple melt downs when mommy and daddy have told me "no" after it was the fifth time that day to drive.
